Ingredients

  • 1 cup shelled edamame

  • 1 cup green peas

  • 1/4 cup white onion, diced

  • 2 tsp lemon juice

  • 1 clove garlic, finely minced

  • 1/4 tsp white pepper

  • Salt to taste

Optional: Add pumpkin seed protein powder for an extra protein punch.


Instructions

  1. In the bowl of a food processor, combine onion, lemon juice, garlic, and pepper. Let sit for at least 10 minutes so the flavours mellow.

  2. Lightly steam and drain the edamame and peas.

  3. Add to the food processor and pulse until smooth, scraping down the sides often for an even consistency.

  4. Season with salt to taste.
